I sent this letter to Kia of San Angelo This afternoon---
Ms. Hickerson:
I was disappointed by our encounter this morning. While you are not responsible for the policies and decisions of your upper echelon, you are my primary contact so I will be sharing with you.
When I returned home (60 miles round trip for nothing) I took the time to carefully read the marketing letter put out by Mayra Vargas at Lendward. At the end of the second paragraph of the marketing letter, it claims that Ki of San Angelo would be able to make a deal that was "a, near, or even below your current payment of $374. $5oo is none of those things. I wasted $20 of gas for your sales manager to essentially lie about the claims made in the letter.
I provide the assurance of steady income and presented with sterling payment record with Flagship Lending Co., a lender Kia works with and would have probably accepted a deal within the terms of the letter. What is disturbing is that I was not shown any vehicles, despite the proven worthiness of our ability to pay.
I ask you to please forward this to you sales manager. Assure him that I will be getting on every means of communication... i.e. Yelp, Craigslist, etc... to share with the community the upstanding way that they marketed and then turned away a senior citizen without ample reason.
My friends don't reward Kia for their slimy marketing practices. Stay away!!!
